Woodside is a part of the city of Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom. The area used to be separate from the city but was incorporated in 1891.〔(Aberdeen City Council )〕〔()〕 The River Don runs through Woodside, and mills were built on the banks. There were small schools which struggled to cope with the influx of children. A new school was built in 1834; this is now the Burgh Hall. ==Woodside School== Woodside School is on the corner of Clifton Road and Smithf. The head teacher is Mrs Cook. The first part of the school was built in 1890, and it was extended in 1902; these dates are on the building. The nursery is in a separate building and has its own garden.
